Before the launch of the UEFA Europa League group stage we got in touch with FC Toulouse head coach, Alain Casanova. He talked about Shakhtar much, emotionally, unconcealing respect.

-      I think it is an open group where Shakhtar Donetsk is a big favourite. Then,  there are three other teams, which are very close to each other. Every team can have its chance to become a runner-up in this group.

The head coach also pointed out that two legs against the Miners will be very difficult, probably the most difficult of all group phase. But the team will try to do their best in order to take points.

-      Did the draw results cause any public excitement in your country as there will be the game against UEFA Cup Winner?
-      Yes, this is exciting for us and for our fans because everybody wanted to have a big recognized team, like Valencia or Roma. Shakhtar won the UEFA Cup last year, so, as for me, it is the most prestigious opponent that we could have.

-      What do you know about Shakhtar?
I saw all their European games last year, and I think there are a lot of very good and technical players in this team, both the Ukrainians and Brazilians, they play football very well. Their football is clean and they have got a recognized coach who succeeded with all teams he had trained, we can only respect him for that. About their key points, I think they have good individualities, the team has not changed and they are used to play together, this is the most fundamental thing for me. About the weak points, I prefer to keep it for myself to win the game!
