Dear Shakhtar’s supporters!

18 November the return leg of the World Cup play-off, where Ukraine appears against Greece, will be played. It will decide everything! It will seal the fate of whether Ukraine’s national team will qualify for the 2010 FIFA World Cup in SAR or not. I am convinced of our high chances.

This is the reason why Donbas Arena needs to create a special atmosphere. Our representative team is in great need of fans’ support. The only thing, they were treated at the very least not well.

Football Federation of Ukraine (FFU) has fixed very high ticket prices. Almost each supporter is far from being able to buy them, moreover, while facing an economic crisis. In such way FFU decided to earn about UAH 36 million (approximately USD 4.5 million according to the National Bank exchange rate).

Even tickets, offered by FC Shakhtar to their supporters at a discount of 50 % , do not solve a problem. The prices are still too high.

Let us leave FFU’s actions on their conscience. In case, if they have one.

In our turn, FC Shakhtar is taking all measures to create a real football atmosphere at Donbas Arena. Ukraine’s national team will gain a sincere support from the stands. And I hope that Donbas Arena will become that lucky stadium, where the national team of Ukraine will launch its campaign of the World Cup in SAR.
