New Year has already come to Shakhtar, and it happened at night from December 26 to 27 when a great team of Shakhtar Family was friendly celebrating mate’s party not simply in a family circle, but at Donbass Arena – a new home!

  It was the first time the stadium hosted such a party, there were more than 600 people taking part – the employees of Football Club, Donbass Arena, Shakhtar-trading, Kirsha training center and Shakhtar football Academy. Thanks goodness, the area of five-star stadium could host all them without any problem: there was a dance floor in Diamond restaurant, a standing buffet one level below – in Golden restaurant, and just aside, in Silver-bar there was a karaoke-hall. By and large, any taste could be satisfied.  

 
  Anyhow, the feast began with awarding of Shakhtar Family employees who have worked over 10 years. FC Shakhtar CEO, Sergiy Palkin, awarded them with presents for memory, congratulated the team on New Year and gave a start to a feast program. It was here when outstanding potential of our colleagues was revealed: the lawyers were playing cellos, tour guides were performing hits and market researchers appeared as bards. And then gypsy tribe arrived, to be true, the employees of Shakhtar-trading and then finally, the 1980s disco started on dance floor.
