Shakhtar Veterans is about to finish its first stage appearance in Donetsk Open Winter Championship. On 7 February  Valeriy Shevlyuk’s men were beaten by Olimpik Donetsk, a team from the Second League, 0—4. Nevertheless, this defeat did not prevent Shakhtar from qualifying for the final stage, where the teams will be arranged from first to eighth place in ranking.

Shakhtar Veterans head coach stressed that he never made tragedy out of a defeat. Now Shakhtar is getting ready for the upcoming match against Makiyivvugillya, and going to win the first part of the tournament.
