While the country was busy celebrating the 8th of March in a big way, Shakhtar players were… also having a rest! After derby with Metalurh Donetsk  Mircea Lucescu gave his men a day off and left for Turkey to be present at a ceremony devoted to awarding the Best Sportsman of the Year. The Hirnyky’s coach was invited as a special guest. His visit lasted for one day. The event was hosted by Turkish newspaper Zaman jointly with local television.

 And starting from today the team is back on the training ground, getting into a groove.
