The goal scored by Mariusz Lewandowski  into Metalist's net in Ukrainian Championship Matchday 20, became a milestone kick for Hirnyky’s Polish player. He has scored 30 goals during his stay at Donetsk club: 20 goals within Ukrainian Championship, six goals within National Cup, one goal in Ukrainian Super Cup and scored thrice in the European Cups. 

Apart from that,  today’s game against Kharkiv's side is also a symbolic one for Shakhtar player, being the 170th  anniversary match in Ukrainian Championship.
