Henrikh Mkhitaryan seals FC Shakhtar switch
The First Team
has been bolstered with another skillful player, as all necessary papers had
been signed to seal a five year Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s
move from FC Metalurh Donetsk to FC Shakhtar. The transfer deal fee amounted to
USD 7.5 million.
The Armenian midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan was born on 21 January 1989 in Yerevan. At the beginning of his career Henrikh played 69 games and scored 30 goals for Pyunik (Armenia). He joined Metalurh Donetsk in the 2009/10 season, where managed to deliver 12 strikes, having played 36 matches.
As an Armenian cap Henrikh Mkhitaryan appeared at 15 matches, scoring 2 goals.
