It’s hard to say anything after a match like this. Despite the defeat, I consider Shakhtar and Basel as teams playing on same level. This match was a challenge. Perhaps, Shakhtar were luckier, because we could have equalised at the beginning of the second half.

Stocker:

We had only one goal tonight – to beat Shakhtar. Our rivals did everything they had to do and we had no free space.

What helped Shakhtar beat Basel?

Brazilians are their main force. Nevertheless, we too managed to create a couple oif scoring opportunities. Unfortunatelu, we didn’t take them.

Perovic:

After the first goal we started to make mistakes and allowed Shakhtar to control the game.

In the second half Shakhtar scored 4 goals…
