Shakhtar – Košice match put an end to the first Austrian training camp for Donetsk team. The club’s press office had a small talk with the most distinguished participants of the meeting, having started from a young, but outstanding battle fighter Vitaliy Vitsenets.

-        You were a scorer of Košice goal, showed yourself during the training camp and performed well in general. Our congratulations!
-        Thanks a lot.

-        How did you feel about being among not only the elder, but more experienced footballers?
-        At first it was exciting and odd. Imagine – I am in the first team of Shakhtar! It is my dream and a great responsibility, too. But it is Ok. I got used to, but of course, I have tried hard.

-        It seems you incline to score. You were aiming at goal…
-        You know, I feel myself more comfortable in supporting midfielder’s position. But I was appointed an attacking midfielder… I was trying to show myself in this position, as well.

-        How do you feel about the first stage of the training camp?
-        I have just returned from my holidays and have already started participating in games… Perhaps, I am not fit well enough. Even so. But it is Ok. I will keep fit. This is just the beginning.

-        Will it be better in Switzerland?
-        Of course, we are going to work harder. And it will be a quite different Rat in Switzerland.

-        What stuck to your memory during Austrian training camp?
-        I think, we were lucky with the weather. If it was too hot, it would be much harder to play. And I was also impressed by the hotel, where we lived and recovered. Perhaps, one day I will have a chance to come here again not to work, but to have a holiday. It is a wonderful place.

Darijo Srna

-        Captain, are we leaving Austria gained a victory?
-        It was not a bad win over Košice. We won and scored much. We could even score two goals more. The victory is important even it does not gain scores. It gives the team a lot of confidence.

-        You began training  later than others.
-        It is all right. Not only the training conditions were really splendid, but also the hotel, where we lived, the weather and the pitch. Everything was at the top level. We are keeping fit and there were no serious injuries during the training camp, thanks God.
