Mass media editions are larding with the news about allegedly principle agreement on transfer of Shakhtar’s captain Darijo Srna to London Chelsea. The Croatian midfielder’s statements are quoted, mentioning the precise contract amounts and medical examination terms. Meanwhile this information has nothing in common with reality. Darijo Srna declared about it himself – on May 30 he called the FC Shakhtar’s press-office and said the following:

- I am tired to read and hear from mass media reports news about me and on my behalf. Therefore I declare with all my responsibility: I have not ever negotiated, signed anything and gave no interviews to journalists. All this is pure invention! Now I am on vacation leave, I am a Shakhtar’s footballer, it is my team! And on June 12, together with my team-mates I intend to leave for the training camp. And if any club has proposals, let it contact Shakhtar’s president Rinat Akhmetov and my agent. Only they can decide on my fate, if there is such a need.
