Shakhtar and Dynamo resumed the league campaign after international break – in this regard the opponents are on equal terms. From the competition perspective, the Kyiv side can feel a bit more comfortable, given that they have thee more points. Besides, in the upcoming game, the opponents will play on their pitch.

Dynamo were going into the game with a 5-point lead, so the final outcome of 0-0 fully satisfied the the Kyiv time. However, both teams could have scored in the first half: Shovkovskyy parried away a powerful shot from outside the penalty area, and Kravets failed to score after bearing down on goal. Then, the opposition goalkeeper saved an Adriano shot.
The second half saw battles in every area of the pitch. That said, the opponents exchanged chances. In the beginning of the second half, Lens sent the ball over the crossbar from a good position after a cross from Yarmolenko. Shakhtar managed to pull out a win in the closing stages of the match, when Adriano hit the crossbar. As a result, a 0-0 draw which was a negative result for the Pitmen.
