Giorgi Arabidze – among youngest debutants
The Georgian forward Giorgi Arabidze has become one of the youngest debutants of Shakhtar in the Ukrainian history.
The record belongs to Gennadiy Zubov. He played his first match at the age of 17 years and 50 days. It should be noted that Zubov was fielded in the starting line-up for the game with System-Boreks and scored a winning goal.
Oleksandr Voskoboynyk remains in second place; he made his league debut at the age of 17 years and 194 days. Dmytro Moldovan and Dmytro Chygrynskyi follow him.
