Shakhtar vs PSG: preview
On Matchday 2 of the Champions League group stage, Shakhtar will face French side PSG. We bring you the preview of the game.

The opponents got opposite results in their opening games at the group stage. Shakhtar suffered a defeat in Madrid, and PSG got a home win over Malme thanks to goals from Angel Di Maria and Edinson Cavani. The Pitmen have to win in Lviv to be equal on points with PSG.
PSG have won three consecutive French league titles. The Paris team are way stronger than their domestic league rivals, but their main target is a successful performance in the Champions League. Last year PSG easily advanced from the group, overcame Chelsea at the last-16, but lost to Barcelona in the quarterfinals. PSG completed their campaign at the same stage in the 2013-14 season too.

PSG’s coach Laurent Blanc took the following 21 players to Lviv for the match with Shakhtar: goalkeepers Trapp, Sirigu and Descam, defenders Thiago Silva, Marquinhos, Maxwell, Ore, Kyurzawa, Van der Wiel and David Luiz, midfielders Stambuli, Verratti, Lucas Moura, Thiago Motta, Di Maria, Matuidi, Rabiot and Pastore, as well as forwards Cavani, Ibrahimovic and Lavezzi.
Shakhtar’s midfielder Taras Stepanenko will miss the PSG game due to being sent off in Matchday 1 game against Real Madrid.
