Introducing opponents: Dacia

On February 11, Shakhtar will play their last game in the Spanish training camp. The meeting vs Dacia is to kick off at 12:00 Ukrainian time (EET).

Dacia is a relatively young Moldovan club based in Chisinau, which was founded in 1999. However, during its short history, the Wolves have achieved considerable success in their home country. Since 2002, the Dacia have performed in the top division of Moldova. Over this period, they have become silver medalists five times, even claiming the league title in the 2010/11 season.

Currently, Shakhtar’s oponents are also among the leaders of the Moldova league. After 16 matchdays, Dacia are sitting in the second league spot with 37 points. The top team Sherif Tiraspol have the same number of points.

The Wolves feature some Ukrainians. Those are the defender Vladimir Zastavnyi, the midfielders Maksim Gavrilenko, Sergey Zaginaylov and Yevgeniy Lozovoi. The team is coached by the Moldovan specialist Oleg Bezhenar.
