Europa League: Yaroslav Rakytskyy and Marlos in Team of the Week
Shakhtar players have been included in the Team of the Week. It has been traditionally picked by the UEFA official website after the return leg of the Europa League last 32.
“To get into the Team of the Week in the European competitions is a great honor for a footballer”, Yaroslav Rakytskyy. “But it's not so much my credit as our coach’s and the entire team’s, with whom I am daily progressing as a footballer. I would like thank Mister, our coaching staff and my colleagues for the game with Schalke. I congratulate everyone, who lives and breathes Shakhtar. Especially the president of our club and fans from Donetsk and Donbas!”
It should be noted that Shakhtar’s two players were included in the best XI – the same number of players as from Dortmund and Tottenham.

It's nice that I have been appraised in a match with Schalke", Marlos, scorer of the first goal against Schalke said. “But I’m frankly pleased not only with that personal achievement, but with the teamwork’s effort. The most important thing is that we have managed to achieve this important victory and make it to the next round!”
