Introducing opponents: Hacken
On 24 January at 21:00 Ukrainian time, the Pitmen will hold a friendly game with Hacken from the Swedish city of Gothenburg. Let’s get acquainted with the opponents.
The club was founded in 1940. For their yellow and black vertical stripes they were nicknamed the Wasps.
Until 2008, the team played were periodically relegated in the 2nd domestic division. But the last few years have seen the team play in the top flight, and in 2012 they took second place in Sweden, which is their greatest achievement. One of the club’s historical successes was also the Cup final in 1990.
In the season 2015, Hacken finished in 7th place in the standings, taking 45 points in 30 games.
Since 2009, the club has been coached by Peter Gerhardsson. The team play their home games at the Bravida Arena, which was opened in June 2015. The stadium capacity is 6, 500 seats.
