Ukraine national team at Euro: 8 Shakhtar players on squad list

Head coach of Ukraine national team Mykhailo Fomenko finalised the list of 23 players to participate in the UEFA European Championship 2016 in France
The squad list features eight Shakhtar players: goalkeeper Andriy Pyatov, defenders Vyacheslav Shevchuk, Oleksandr Kucher, Yaroslav Rakits’kyy and Bohdan Butko, midfielders Taras Stepanenko and Viktor Kovalenko, as well as striker Yevhen Seleznyov.

goalkeepers: Andriy Pyatov (Shakhtar), Denys Boiko (Besiktas, Turkey), Mykyta Shevchenko (Zorya);
defenders: Artem Fedetskyi (Dnipro), Vyacheslav Shevchuk, Oleksandr Kucher, Yaroslav Rakits’kyy, Bohdan Butko (all from Shakhtar), Yevhen Khacheridi (Dynamo);
midfielders: Andriy Yarmolenko, Serhiy Sydorchuk, Denys Garmash, Serhiy Rybalka (all from Dynamo), Ruslan Rotan (Dnipro), Taras Stepanenko Viktor Kovalenko (both from Shakhtar), Oleksandr Karavayev (Zorya), Anatoliy Tymoshchuk (Kairat, Kazakhstan), Yevhen Konoplyanka (Sevilla, Spain), Oleksandr Zinchenko (Ufa, Russia);

Let us remind you that Ukraine national team will play in Group C. From June 12, the charges of Mykhailo Fomenko will meet with Germany, on June 16 – with Northern Ireland, and on June 21 – with Poland.
