On the morning of November 2, the Pitmen took off for the Europa League group stage matchday four game against Gent
At 10:30 am, the plane with the Donetsk delegation on board headed for Ostende, from where the Orange-and-Blacks will go to Ghent by bus. Paulo Fonseca brought 22 players for the game vs Gent:
goalkeepers: Andriy Pyatov, Anton Kanibolotskyi, Mykyta Shevchenko;
defenders: Darijo Srna, Bohdan Butko, Yaroslav Rakitskyy, Olexandr Kucher, Ivan Ordets, Serhii Kryvtsov, Ismaily;
midfielders: Taras Stepanenko, Maksym Malyshev, Fred, Vyacheslav Tankovskyi, Taison, Dentinho, Marlos, Bernard, Wellington Nem;
forwards: Facundo Ferreyra, Eduardo, Andrii Boriachuk.
This evening, the Pitmen will be involved in traditional pre-match media activities. At 20:00 Kyiv time, Shakhtar head coach Paulo Fonseca and the team midfielder Bernard will answer the reporters’ questions. At 20:30, the Donetsk team will hold a training session on the Gent Stadium pitch, with the opening 15 minutes being available for media coverage.
This is a reminder that Gent vs Shakhtar game will be held on 3 November. It kicks off at 22:05.
