The Pitmen continue to prepare for the Ukrainian Premier League Matchday 11 game against Olimpik
On the morning of October 13, the Pitmen had a session in Vorzel. It was attended by representatives of the media. The journalists had the opportunity not only to observe the Orange-and-Blacks’ training session, but also to talk to the players, as well as with Paulo Fonseca.
Ukraaine U21 players (Andrii Boriachuk, Mykola Matviienko, and Oleksandr Zubkov) joined the first team after international duty. Yaroslav Rakitskyy and Mykyta Shevchenko, who have been recovering from injuries, are not preparing for the game vs Olimpik. Besides, Vyacheslav Shevchuk did not train due to a cold.
After the session, the Pitmen’s coach handed an award to the Man of the Match vs Zorya Maksym Malyshev. Immediately after the match in Zaporizhya, the midfielder went on international duty and couldn’t receive the award.
Tomorrow morning, the league leaders will have a pre-match session, going to Sumy in the afternoon.
Let us remind you that the Donetsk derby between Shakhtar and Olimpik will be held on 15 October. It kicks off at 17:00 EET and will be aired live by Futbol 2 channel.
