Ukrainian Cup: Shakhtar to play Oleksandriya

On September 23, the House of Football hosted the Ukrainian Cup Last 16 draw. At this stage of the competition, the Pitmen will receive Oleksandriya. The match base date is 26 October
The current title holders Shakhtar have twice met with Oleksandriya in the Ukrainian Cup. In the 2008/09 season, the Orange-and-Blacks beat the Citizens 2-1 on the latter’s pitch to advance to the cup semi-finals.
The last cup encounter took place just recently. Last season, in the semi-finals, the Pitmen drew with Oleksandriya away (1-1), claiming a confident win at the Arena Lviv (2-0).
