Shakhtar players gave their take on the match vs Zorya

After scoring that goal against Zorya, I experienced a wave of nostalgia first: I spent many years with the team, they’ve given me a lot, which I don’t forget. It was such an exciting moment that I just shed a tear, but then got back to the game, everything was fine. As for sending me off, I don’t even want to discuss the referee’s actions, because nothing will change. Everyone saw everything. To be honest, that's already funny – they were looking for any reason just to send off three players. I earned a yellow card for the very first foul in the opening minutes. Throughout the match I feared doing something wrong, and then they came up with the idea of diving. I was sure that with ten men the guys would stand, that they would manage it. But then more sending-offs followed, plus the spot kick... Of course, everyone is upset and frustrated at the moment.

Regarding Fred, to be honest, I didn’t see the situation. As for Rakits’kyy, everything’s clear: he was just emotional after the spot kick awarded against us, when the ball hit the player's hand from close range. I don’t even know how they interpret all those episodes. However, I admit my guilt at the second goal we conceded. Of course, one shouldn’t just lose heart like that – that’s my mistake. But even the guys from Zorya say that it's unpleasant for them to win like that. I hope after this match they will pay attention to the refereeing.
