New Year gifts

On December 9, the internally displaced children from Donbas attended the final training session of Shakhtar in 2017
50 kids from Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts came to see how the Miners were preparing for the final match of the year against Zorya, as well as to wish the team to win the match. Upon completion of the workout, the players presented gifts to young fans.
Andriy Pyatov: Children are always positive. We organize such actions every year, trying to make them happy. I support such events, being happy to talk with the kids. Everyone has been filled with positive impressions before an important encounter with Zorya
In chase of autographs and selfies, the kids, despite the rather cold weather, did not let their idols go for a long time. The meeting ended with having a commemorative picture taken.
- Most of all I liked when the players gave out gifts to us, - says Nazar Uvarov. - It was interesting to watch the training session of Shakhtar. I come from Luhansk and often watch the matches of my favourite team on TV. In my opinion, the strongest players are Marlos, Bernard, Taison, Ismaily, Rakits’kyy and Pyatov.
- I liked the session very much, - Misha Pertsev shares his impressions. - I'm happy to receive a gift from Shakhtar. I haven’t opened the box yet, I hope there are sweets there. I’ve even put on a scarf to support the Miners. I took an autograph from Bernard - he plays in a fantastic way. I also like Darijo Srna a lot.
Recall that this is Shakhtar’s third action of such kind. In 2016 and 2015, the Orange-and-Blacks also extended their season greetings to the internally displaced children from Donbas on the eve of the New Year holidays.
