Fans of Shakhtar have picked the Player of the Month for February. The winner is Andriy Pyatov
The last month of winter can well be called the month of Andriy, because this very month last year they also recognised him to be the best. This time, 370 poll participants voted for the goalkeeper.
Viktor Kovalenko follows him closely. 361 people voted for Viktor. Despite the fact that the 21-year-old midfielder missed most of the winter camp due to injury, he has quickly rediscovered his top form, being one of the most active players on the pitch. Viktor got his name on the scoresheet in the resumed Ukrainian League season opener against Poltava-based Vorskla.
Taison is third with 354 points.
The team Argentine newcomer Gustavo Blanco Leschuk fit well into the Pitmen’s performance and was also appreciated by the fans, winning the fourth spot. 283 people have voted for him.
