On the morning of October 20, the Ukrainian League leaders traditionally gathered at the Sviatoshyn suburban base. The atmosphere in the team is excellent. The Miners approach the meeting with Dynamo with a seven-point lead. The recent Champions League win at Feyenoord (NED) also adds some positive emotions.
Today’s session lasted exactly ninety minutes and involved a number of playing and tactical exercises. With the exception of the injured Sergii Kryvtsov and Maksym Malyshev, all the players are getting ready for the Ukrainian ‘El Clasico’.
Five matches – one win
In the recent five meetings, Dynamo proved stronger only once (3-2 Europa League victory over Partizan). In the domestic Premier League, Aleksandr Khatskevich's men have not won in three matches in a row: they drew vs Veres (0-0) and Zorya (4-4), and lost to Chornomorets (1-2). Yesterday, in the 3rd round of the Europa League, the Kyiv team also tied with Young Boys, Switzerland (2-2).

The meeting between Dynamo and Shakhtar will take place at the NSC Olympiyskyi in Kyiv on October 22. The game kicks off at 19:30. The live broadcast has been scheduled on the 2+2 channel.
