The day after the Ukrainian Cup semi-final major victory over Mariupol, Shakhtar started preparing for the pre-scheduled domestic league game vs Vorskla
The Miners dedicated the morning of April 19 to recovery. The coaching staff gave everyone the possibility to have a good rest and sleep, with the team gathering on the OSC Metalist pitch after lunch to resume training.
The players to have taken part in the game vs Mariupol had a light training session: after the warm-up and jogging under the guidance of the fitness coach Pedro Moreira, they worked on building the abs and back muscles. The rest of players had a full intensive session with the focus on gaming and tactical exercises. Facundo Ferreyra and Dentinho trained individually after getting injured in the match vs Mariupol.
Tomorrow, the Orange-and-Blacks will have a scheduled training session at the OSC Metalist, which will be open to the media and fans.
