Zirka head coach Roman Monarev reflects on the encounter in Kharkiv

- The teams solve diametrically opposite tasks, which was revealed in the game. Shakhtar proved objectively stronger. Unfortunately, today we haven’t found any counterarguments to challenge them duly and impose our fighting on them.

- Is the aggregate 0-8 in the starting rounds a tragedy?
- Based on the fact that we are facing the tough fight for survival, I don’t think so. Those two games revealed our weaknesses: we have enough time to resolve them with the help of personnel or through training. The problems are obvious, we know them, but, unfortunately, not everything can be done right away. We proceed from the human potential available. We work to get some new players involved, so it will be necessary to look for new combinations and to build up the defence in a due course. During the training camp, for a number of different reasons, we failed to do that. However, I don’t see any disaster in that.
