We did better

- First of all, I want to congratulate the opponents, which they never do when we win. Shakhtar started very well and fully dominated it. We created some scoring chances and twice hit the crossbar. Dynamo never reached our goal. However, it wasn’t they who conducted that attack - we just gave them that goal. There’s been a certain trend in this kind of games since I came here: Dynamo drop deep and defend near their penalty area, with Shakhtar trying to attack. In the second half, there was next to no play: it was constantly interrupted by whistles, not spending a single minute of the added five minutes. But even like that, Shakhtar lost, doing better in absolutely every respect, except one - the number of goals scored. We did better.
 
- What do you make of Fernando’s performance?
- This was his debut competitive game for Shakhtar. He’s 19, he’s young and he gradually adapts to our football. First time wise, Fernando did positively well. He’s a player with great qualities. He still has room for growth, and I'm sure he will do so.
