Shakhtar’s first training on June 18
Team schedule
The Miners start preparing for the new season. On Monday, June 18, the Champions of Ukraine will gather at the suburban base of Sviatoshyn for a training session. On Tuesday and Wednesday, Shakhtar plan to train twice a day. Also, the players will undergo a traditional medical examination. On June 21, the team will fly to the first training camp venue.
Old friends
Together with the Orange-and-Blacks, the midfielders Andrii Totovytskyi and Serhii Bolbat will go to Germany, along with the defender Oleh Danchenko who has recently played on loan at Mariupol and Anji.
Internationals’ plans
The players involved in friendly games of the Ukraine national team (Andriy Pyatov, Mykola Matviienko, Sergii Kryvtsov, Bohdan Butko, Marlos, Taras Stepanenko, Viktor Kovalenko, Yaroslav Rakits’kyy) and of Georgia (David Khocholava) will join their teammates on June 21. Taison will return to Shakhtar after the completion of Brazil’s 2018 FIFA World Cup campaign.
