They opened another football ground of the Come On, Let’s Play! project in the Bilozerske town in Donetsk Oblast

The social project for the development of children's grassroots football is being implemented by the Shakhtar Social foundation in partnership with DTEK.

In the native region

Bilozerske is the 15th Come On, Let’s Play! town. On October 27, the first open training session took place at the new site. Aggregately, about 60 children have already signed up for the training sessions.

- We are really proud of the fact that Belozerske has been the 15th spot on the project map! Our children now have the opportunity not only to play football for free but also to become world-class footballers one day, - says Viktoria Hryb, head of the sustainable development department at DTEK Energo. - A vivid example of that is the story of Mykola Oharkov from the neighbouring town of Dobropillia. The scouts already noticed and invited him to the FC Shakhtar Academy for full-board training, despite the fact that the Come On, Let’s Play! project kicked off there just eighteen months ago. That’s a real success for the boy! I'm sure there are some would-be stars among the current attendees, and I sincerely wish them to become the ones.

The Bilozerske-based Come On, Let’s Play! coaching administrator Artem Tymoshev shared his impressions:

- Shakhtar has been in our hearts throughout our lives, so we have long dreamed of such a project in our town. Many thanks to the club and DTEK company! Everyone is fond of football here: adults, boys, and girls. Everyone watches the games of their favourite team and roots for them. The kids are happy to practise at the new ground. In the first training session, it’s difficult for them to hide their emotions - they want to play from morning till night! Currently, we continue receiving calls, the interest is huge, so there will be more and more participants. Two more volunteer coaches work with me in the project, with the sessions being scheduled three times a week.
