On September 21, Ivano-Frankivsk hosted the first Come On, Let’s Play! training session for children with disabilities

There will be 20 kids training in the group. Twice a week, they will be able to undergo rehabilitation through playing football. Five volunteer coaches, who have had a special coaching module training, work with the guys. The first session was attended by 18 children with mental and physical deficiencies.

Ivano-Frankivsk is one of 11 cities and towns where they implement the social project aimed at developing children’s grassroots football on the initiative of the Shakhtar Social Foundation and in partnership with DTEK.

We want to mention that in August, within the framework of Come On, Let’s Play! project, the children with disabilities also began to train in Mariupol. The nearest plans include the formation of similar groups in other cities and towns. It is expected that until the end of 2018, about 100 children with special needs will play football at the project sites.
