Two more settlements joined the Come On, Let’s Play! social project for developing grassroots children's football
About 80 children will be able to play football for free in Ladyzhyn, Vinnytsia Oblast.
“This is a really important event for the town: the Come On, Let’s Play! ground will change our children's leisure for the better,” pointed out Ihor Snehin, the Director of DTEK Ladyzhynska TPP. “FC Shakhtar and we will provide the guys with the necessary equipment and gear. They will play football three times a week absolutely free of charge. Our goal is to help parents create new opportunities for the children to spend their free time more usefully.”
A 10-year-old Serhii Yurchenko, one of the participants in the Come On, Let’s Play!” project in Ladyzhyn, also shared his emotions: “I have been playing football every day for two years now. Now we have a real football ground, great footballs, and bibs. Thank you very much!”
The village of Demeshkivtsi, Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast, where about 60 children will be training, has become the 28th settlement on the project map. At each ground, an administrator coach works with the guys.
The Come On, Let’s Play! has been implemented by Shakhtar Social with the support of its general partner DTEK energy company. In 2019, more than 3,000 children have been training at the project grounds.
