On Sunday, the Orange-and-Blacks are facing the first home match this season - vs Karpaty
On the matchday’s eve, Shakhtar goalkeeper Andriy Pyatov went to visit the children involved in the Master of the Ball project. Kharkiv football school is one of the club’s partners. Its pupils root for Shakhtar in a branded section of the Metalist stadium, they enter the pitch with the players, work as ball boys, and participate in other activities.
Pyatov’s arrival at the Meridian stadium caught the interest of young players. About 80 children attended the event. A warm welcoming speech was followed by a training session involving exercises at three stations. The guys practised dribbling and shots at the goal that was kept by Andriy Pyatov.
The event ended with an autograph session and a photo shoot. The goalkeeper of Shakhtar received a Master of the Ball kit as a gift from the school management, he invited the kids to support the team in the game against Karpaty and hurried up to attend an open training session at the OSK Metalist on time.
