Brazil U20 reached the final stage of the 2019 South American U20 Championship
In the Group A round 4, Carlos Amadeu’s boys defeated Bolivia U20 (1-0). The Shakhtar winger Marquinhos Cipriano appeared in the starting line-up and spent 66 minutes on the pitch.
- Our goal is becoming the Champions of South America and securing the World Cup berth, - said Marquinhos Cipriano. - The group was very competitive, with some tough opponents challenging us, however we made it to the second round. We know Brazil’s strength and continue moving towards our goal!
Final stage
At the competition’s final stage, the Brazilians are to play five more games in the strongest group. The nearest fixture is against Colombia on January 29.
We also want to mention that the FIFA U20 World Cup will be held between May 23 and June 15 in Poland. South America will be represented by four best continental championship sides.
