Do you like football and dream of a coaching career? Register for a training course and get the opportunity to become a coach of the FC Shakhtar Academy!
FC Shakhtar launches for the first time an educational project for training football academy coaches. The course is based on the unique knowledge and experience accumulated by our leading experts over many years. We are ready to share the training system for young players with the young people having a coaching potential, confidence in their strength and the will to dedicate their career to bringing up future stars of Ukrainian and international football.
After the selection, the very best ones will receive an offer to undergo modular training (free of charge!), and receive a certificate upon successful completion of the course. The most promising project participants whose potential, charisma and ability to develop young footballers show up most clearly, will occupy a worthy place among the Shakhtar Academy coaches.
To become a participant in the project, you need to register and pass several selection stages: an interview with an HR specialist, the abilities and motivation tests, completing a match video analysis task. Based on the selection results, they will form a group of 20 people.
Training is scheduled for the period of April - Оctober and will consist of theory sessions, practical homework and practising the skills for organizing the training process on the pitch. The whole course is divided into four modules lasting four days each:
- Football game theory and tactics;
- Sport psychology;
- Fundamentals of football management;
- Scientific approach in the Academy work (video analysis, testing, Soccer Lab).
For the training period, the students will be provided with a half-board accommodation at the Academy facilities in the settlement of Shchaslyve.
Our candidates are the young guys who are active, ambitious, passionate about football and ready for intensive training. Experience in the following areas will help you to successfully pass all the selection stages: scouting, video analysis, performance with a professional football club, coaching, sports journalism.
Registration for participation in the project is held from March 1 through March 12.
