Shakhtar midfielder Manor Solomon played for the national team of Israel

Israel hosted Slovenia in their opening match of the UEFA Euro 2020 qualifying tournament. The first half saw some ding-dong battle, but it did not bring any goals. Early in the second half though, the teams exchanged goals: Zehavi responded to the Slovenian Sporar’s opener with an accurate shot.

Manor Solomon took to the pitch in the 63rd minute, replacing Brighton’s player Beram Kayal. The Shakhtar winger was active, he supported the attacks of his teammates, with Jokic earning a yellow card for a foul on Manor. In the remaining time, the hosts were closer to winning it, but the score remained unchanged – 1-1.

The Israel national team will play the next game vs Austria on March 24.
