Popasna is the 23rd Come On, Let’s Play! location

The Come On, Let’s Play! project kicked off in Popasna, Luhansk Oblast
On May 22, the opening of a new children's football ground took place in the town of Popasna. The pitch meets all modern quality standards: the foundation has been replaced, artificial pitch surface has been laid, fencing and lighting have been added. The major reconstruction was carried out thanks to the Shakhtar Social foundation, the company of Lemtrans, being also supported by the ALC Popasnyanskyi сar-repair plant and the town mayor's office.
- We gladly responded to Shakhtar Social’s proposal for us to join the Come On, Let’s Play! project, also being delighted to see that our joint initiative has been fulfilled, - says Svetlana Kuftova, head of the PR unit at Lemtrans. - The goal we set for ourselves is instilling the culture of healthy and active lifestyles into children. We want every child to have the opportunity to try themselves in sports. We hope this initiative will inspire other companies to become part of the project.
The ground will receive 70 children, who have already registered in the Come On, Let’s Play! project. The guys have conducted the first training session and received gifts from Shakhtar Social.
- The Come On, Let’s Play! is a project that is open to partnership, and we are pleased that Lemtrans supports the development of children's amateur sports, - pointed out Inna Khmyzova, the director of Shakhtar Social. - Our major objective is to involve as many children as possible in playing football. At the new venue in Popasna, the guys have everything they need for training. We wish them every success!
We should mention that earlier, a coach of the FC Shakhtar Academy Volodymyr Vinnychenko conducted training for volunteer coaches in Popasna. The Come On, Let’s Play! training sessions will be held here three times a week.
