The Come On, Let’s Play! project kicked off in Enerhodar, Zaporizhia region

On November 27, at the school No. 1, they held the first training session as part of Shakhtar Social’s project for children's grassroots football development. It was attended by 40 children. It is expected that about 60 boys and girls aged 7 to 12 will play football in Enerhodar under the supervision of an administrator coach.

Serhii Shovhelya, DTEK Zaporizka TPP director:

“We have a celebration today: we are launching the wonderful Come On, Let’s Play! project in Enerhodar. It was implemented through the partnership between DTEK and FC Shakhtar. We want as many children as possible to do this sport so that everyone could fulfil their potential. Football is a team game. Dear children, you will learn to help each other through teamwork. And, most importantly, this is your health.”

The Come On, Let’s Play! opening ceremony in Enerhodar was attended by Yaroslav Skydan, a scouting coach of FC Shakhtar Academy:

“I’m delighted at my first visit here. Not everyone can organize this kind of project. Just recently, the Come On, Let’s Play! was recognized as Europe’s best CSR project. The more kids are healthy, the more developed our country will be. Welcome to the project and do sports, I wish success to everyone!”

Enerhodar became the 34th Come On, Let’s Play! spot. The participants have been provided with everything they need for playing football. We want to add that in the cold season, children will train indoors, and in the spring they will return to the new ground.
