U21. Shakhtar – Kolos: players' reaction

Shakhtar U21 players Klym Prykhodko and Bohdan Viunnyk reflect on the victory over Kolos U21
Klym Prykhodko, midfielder:
- A positive result is, of course, nice, but the performance quality is also of great importance for us. We got off to a flying start, scored two early goals, having more or less good control of the ball, but the continuation was tough, with lots of personal errors and ball losses on our part. We liked the opponents - the players of Kolos tried to play open football, to play it low passes. They were pretty high upfield, so we didn’t use spaces initially, but we gradually started finding them more and more often. We need to train together for a while to feel each other well again. Otherwise, we’ve got no problem at all. We are ready for the second stage of the league campaign.

- I’m really happy to be back in action after five months, I’ve got only positive emotions. I want to thank the coach and, primarily, the medical staff who covered with me all the way to rehabilitation and recovery. I try to give my best at every training session and to catch up with the guys who have had full pre-season training. As for the match, we tried not to depart from our own game and to recall set pieces. Of course, not everything worked out, but we haven’t trained together recently.
