The Ukrainian League leaders continue preparing for the upcoming games in October without the internationals
Shooting combinations
The morning session began with a long warm-up and squares, then the Orange-and-Blacks mastered moves down the middle of the pitch with wide wingers linking up. Also, the players worked on the accuracy of their shots at goal, with a small-sided game across one-third of the pitch rounding off the session. We want to mention that midfielder Andriy Totovytskyi has returned to the general group.
Engaging young players
In the absence of internationals, Luis Castro actively engages Shakhtar’s younger players in the training process. Today, seven academy players have taken part in the session. Five outfield players (Vladyslav Kobylianskyi, Danylo Honcharuk, Oleksandr Simenko, Ivan Semenikhin, and Klym Prykhodko), as well as two goalkeepers (Yevhen Hrytsenko and Ivan Muzychka).
A friendly vs Obolon-Brovar
On October 9, Shakhtar will play a test game against the First Ukrainian League leaders Obolon-Brovar. The encounter will take place at the Sviatoshyn suburban complex. It kicks off at 10:30. All registered users can watch the live stream on shakhtar.com.
