Super Cup mood

On the morning of August 24, the Miners held a training session at the Sviatoshyn suburban complex. Before training, Luis Castro organized a thirty-minute theory session for the players. Then, the team practised the manager’s ideas already on the football field. The session involving 28 players comprised a set of tactical exercises. In conclusion, the Orange-and-Blacks paid some more attention to set pieces.

Andriy Pyatov, goalkeeper:

“The league victory gave us confidence after the Europa League. I’m glad that everyone is healthy. The match will show how well we prepared. We know Mr Lucescu’s working methods, I am personally familiar with his organisation of play. We can see some solutions even now. Our coaching staff analysed them thoroughly. The main thing is to fulfil everything on the pitch. Everything will be fine if we show our own game and don't let the opponents pick up the pace.”

We want to mention that the Brazilian Ismaily has already started training on the pitch. The defender trains based on a custom programme under the supervision of the club physios.
