On October 1st, Shakhtar held a training session in Sviatoshyno
The Orange-and-Blacks are preparing for the scheduled league match against Desna which will take place at 17:00 in Chernihiv this Sunday, October 4th.
Coaching staff develop the youth
Before the start of training, Luis Castro held a 20-minute theory session with the players after which everyone moved to the field. Taras Stepanenko returned to the general group.
The session lasted for an hour and 10 minutes: the warm-up was followed by squares, game exercises and a small-sided games. We want to mention that besides Heorhii Sudakov, Dmytro Kapinus and Bohdan Viunnyk worked with the first team (the forward scored 9 goals in 4 rounds of the U21 Championship).
Yevhen Konoplyanka, Sergii Kryvtsov and Serhii Bolbat are recovering from injuries. Junior Moraes did some personal jogging work with a physio - tomorrow he is expected to rejoin the general group.
Tonight, Shakhtar will know the names of their opponents in the Champions League group stage (the Pots). Luis Castro and the footballers will arrive to the PM Hall and will watch the draw online together. Make sure you don't miss the live broadcast on Shakhtar TV at 18:00!
