We need to get stronger

- We take all of our opponents seriously, we understand what we’ve done in the wrong way. We analyzed the game vs Rukh, the coach pointed out the mistakes. We should have acted differently: more aggressively at some points, more attentively in defensive terms at other moments. You need to get stronger and better. Losing points can backfire, so we must approach the next match in a really focussed way.

- What’s the reason behind losing four points? The busy schedule? Maybe the team didn't fully recover?

- Nope. We are professionals - it’s not about having less time for recovery. We have enough players, with everyone competing for a place in the first team. Whoever takes the field must give their all and produce results. Shakhtar accepts only victories. It’s true that we made some mistakes, we concede goals in every game. It’s necessary to draw conclusions. Saying something is one thing and doing it on the pitch is another one, but I hope that we can finally feel confident, keep a clean sheet and score as many goals as possible.

- What kind of game do you expect against Olimpik on Sunday? The team have had two victories in the last rounds, plus the opponents analysed Shakhtar's games vs Zorya and Rukh ...

- These days, everyone knows how to defend and attack. Of course, they analyze our play, looking for some weaknesses of ours, for the way to rip open our defence. We also watched Rukh taking advantage of that. The coach pointed out certain errors - at certain points we didn’t operate aggressively enough, we didn’t seal off some spaces. If we perceive this correctly and transfer it to the pitch, we won’t experience any issues I suppose. We should set only the maximum goals. We respect Olimpik, we see their current leaders - Teixeira, striker Shahab ... In each third the players deliver some great performance. At the same time, we are Shakhtar. We must boss it, score goals and not concede any.
