Shakhtar forward Junior Moraes got injured in training ahead of the Premier League MD23 match vs Oleksandriia
The striker was diagnosed with a torn cruciate ligament in the knee. Moraes will be operated on next week. According to preliminary estimates of the club's medical department, the footballer's recovery will take about six months.
In early April, Moraes turned 34 years old. He was named the Ukrainian League top scorer twice in a row, and this season he has netted six goals in 17 Premier League matches and passed the milestone of 100 goals in the tournament.
