- On Saturday, you will have the match against Mariupol. What kind of meeting are you expecting?
- We must show our game. We don't need to think about Mariupol, but we’ve got to focus on our team and claim a positive result by showcasing some spectacular football. We must try to bring into play everything that we’ve practised during the week and win - this is the most important thing.
- How did your success in the match against Vorskla influence the team?
- It's always good to win. We know perfectly well that we are going through a difficult period, but through victories we are gradually gaining confidence. It’s important that the team gets back on the winning track.
- What can you say about the next opponents?
- Mariupol are a strong team with an excellent coach. We need to respect the opponents, but primarily we should show our football and win without giving the opponents any opportunity to play successfully.
- In the remaining matches, Shakhtar simply have no room for error. Is that additional motivation for you?
- Losing points is basically bad. This season we’ve lost quite many points - we haven’t experienced that in recent years. It was not the best period, but I want to repeat that confidence returns with victories. We always try to play better.
