In Kyiv on December 7, Shakhtar played its last match of the 2021/22 Champions League group stage
The team took the field against Sheriff wearing a special kit with the Shakhtar Social lettering. That is the way UEFA encourages the social work of football clubs so that they can make charitable foundations known and popular.

Millions of people watch football, which means they will get to know about Shakhtar Social if they have not heard about the foundation before. Trust in us as a foundation makes it possible to receive new grants and implement new CSR projects at their expense for the benefit of children. After all, children are the audience that Shakhtar Social works for in the first place.”
