Shakhtar completed the first stage of their winter training and landed in Kyiv
From January 17 through January 26, the Orange-and-Blacks trained in Belek, Turkey, including three friendly games. On Tuesday, the training camp programme ended with a morning match vs Sileks. The team plane touched down in Kyiv.
The coaching staff gave the players a couple of days off to spend with their families. The majority of the Miners returned to Ukraine, while some guys decided to stay in Turkey and use their free time as they want.
On Friday, January 29, Luis Castro's men will start the second training camp in Belek. Shakhtar will be based in the same Regnum Carya hotel, with a number of friendlies scheduled there - the schedule will appear on shakhtar.com shortly. Stay tuned for updates!
