The 2020/21 season enters the home straight
This week, the Miners are to play two matches at the NSC Olimpiyskiy - vs Minaj (Thursday, May 6) and Inhulets (Sunday, May 9). Actually, this season will end for the team with fixtures against the UPL debutants.
Tactical small-sided games
On May 4, Shakhtar held a regular training session on the field of the Sviatoshyn sports complex. It lasted for a total of ninety minutes: a warm-up took 20 minutes, plus 10 minutes for squares, and then the players focussed on different types of small-sides games (with two and three goals, in tight spaces and so on) and on tactical work.
It should be noted that the 17-year-old Roman Savchenko, Shakhtar U19 central defender, has exercised with the first team today. The recovering Maksym Malyshev and Ismaily trained individually.
