On September 18, they opened a Come On, Let’s Play! site for girls with disabilities in Vinnytsia

15 girls aged 6 to 14 took part in their debut inclusive training session, with the legendary Shakhtar player and Shakhtar Social ambassador Andrii Vorobei attending the session as a special guest.

“That’s very positive for both adults and children,” said Andrii Vorobei. “It's nice to support the development of youth football, training the children with disabilities is particularly important. The training session was like a festival because the positive vibes just brimmed over. I would like more such projects to exist, with more open schools and playgrounds available to the guys!”

As part of the Come On, Let’s Play! project, children with disabilities train in Mariupol, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Brovary, Lviv, Poltava, Ivano-Frankivsk and Severodonetsk. Vinnytsia has become the fourth city to host inclusive training sessions for girls.

Since 2019, 80 participants from four Ukrainian cities have been involved in the project supported by the partners UNFPA Ukraine and Special Olympics Ukraine.
