Shakhtar head coach Roberto De Zerbi speaks on the encounter with Inter in Kyiv and Traore's serious injury

- Let me congratulate you on the wonderful play. They believe that in the Champions League, the referees are influenced by the magic of names and they help just big teams. Has today’s match confirmed it? (Sport-Arena)

- No, I do not think so. There was no pressure on the referee today. There are other teams that are used to putting pressure on referees, and Ukrainian journalists know perfectly well what I’m talking about. This time, both teams played very good football – you all saw that. It would be wrong to talk about the officials today. Even Traore's injury is an accident.

- How serious is Traore's injury?

- I think he was seriously injured. We do not know to what extent, but we will find it out the other day. I feel very sorry for him, because he is not only a strong footballer, but also just a person, a young and talented player.

- How significant has the loss of Traore been in the context of your game plan? Who was supposed to perform his functions? (Ukrinform)

- Pedrinho moved up to the centre of attack and delivered a great performance. Just like Tete did on the side. Would we have won it with Traore on the pitch? Who knows? We might have even lost. But it’s really sad that Lassina got such a serious injury, he is a young footballer.

- What caused your reaction for which you earned a yellow card? (Ukrinform)

- I think there was a free-kick situation because of Lautaro Martinez's handball followed by a wrong foul awarded by the referee. But those are just situations taking place on the field, no big deal.

- Does the fact that Simone Inzaghi replaced Dzeko first and then Lautaro Martinez midway through the second half, mean that your tactical plan to neutralize these forwards worked well?

- Simone Inzaghi fielded Correa and Alexis Sanchez who also play offensively, and the same Correa created a few chances late in the game.

- Mister, yesterday you said that Inter are stronger than Shakhtar mentally and on paper. Has today's match finally revealed it?

- I think the same way as yesterday. Inter are even mentally stronger than we are. Today, when Shakhtar had a lasting possession of the ball, the opponents did not lose patience and then caused us difficulties. This shows how strong Inter are mentally. The outcome is a 0-0 draw, we should be happy.

- The outcome suggests that it would be better for you to win the next match against Real Madrid. Will you call and consult Luis Castro, the specialist in this matter? (Kyivskyi Futbol)

- No, we aren’t thinking about Real. Our thoughts are already about the match against Dynamo which we will play at this stadium on Sunday – it’s on this match that we must focus. I already think about this match and am mentally ready for it. We have to overturn the hierarchy because last season Dynamo won the league title and currently they are also in front. This match means a lot to us.

- If Traore's injury is serious, how do you plan to solve the forward issue? (Kyivskyi Futbol)

- We’ve got Fernando, Dentinho, we are expecting the return of Junior Moraes. We also have Pedrinho – I really like the way he plays in that role.

- The team and the coaching staff quite proved themselves, but people primarily single out one player and name him Man of the Match – that’s Andriy Pyatov. How did he rediscover such an amazing form and what role is he playing in your team? (Tribuna.com)

- Who says that Pyatov is the Man of the Match? Inter? Simone Inzaghi? Or Italian reporters?

- Ukrainian reporters.

- I don't like that, because I think we have created lots of chances to score a goal. Of course, Pyatov turned in a clinical performance, but I want to stress that the whole team have turned in a sublime performance. It’s wrong to speak just about Pyatov.

- Is one point ultimately bad for Shakhtar and good for the opponents?

- Yesterday, when I said that Inter are an excellent team, I didn’t lie at all, but spoke the truth. Therefore, I believe that one point for Shakhtar is a very decent result. Inter also had several chances to score: Barella hit the crossbar, Dzeko's chance, Correa's late kick and Pyatov's excellent save. However, I'm more focused on my team, and that's normal. I just think that both opponents played well - we have seen some top-quality football today.
