In an interview with Shakhtar TV, the newcomer Vinicius Tobias spoke about his first impressions and goals at the club
- Welcome to Shakhtar! What emotions do you experience?
- It's a great feeling to live this dream here, at Shakhtar! Now I feel special, being ready to do everything that is required of me. We will work together with the team to make 2022 a cool and successful year in terms of trophies, because we deserve it!
- Do you already know some of the players and what do you know about the club itself?
- I followed Pedrinho, Maycon, Fernando a lot, because I know them, they are great players. I’m happy to be in this team – it’s strong allowing me to fulfil my potential. I hope I can make a big contribution to Shakhtar's play.
- Is the team's playing style familiar to you?
- I realized that Shakhtar's football is a collective attacking game. I also like handling the ball because I am a full-back and I like to attack. I believe I have the necessary qualities to quickly blend in and help the team achieve results.
- Could you specify your strengths on the field?
- Good pace, great dribbling, man-marking, and I also hold the ball very well and have a great desire to play.
- What goals do you set for yourself at Shakhtar?
- The main thing in the near future is to perform well at the training camp. And when the league season resumes, I want to help the team claim victories and win many titles with them.
- What would you say to the club fans?
- I promise to give my best to the team and do my utmost for us to delight you!
